Murray Riches is a student of the University of Waikato and is currently compiling research on queer youth resources in Aotearoa. He will present his report at the Launch. Seb Stewart is a recipient of the Vodafone World of Difference award. He has been visiting high schools and providing workshops on what it means to be young and not heterosexual. Priscilla Penniket is the Education Coordinator for Rainbow Youth.<br\>Louisa Wall has agreed to officially launch the pride festival. This workshop will focus on building a foundation of queer pride from a spiritual or faith based perspective. We will investigate the nature of a God figure and the human projections of gender and sexuality on such concepts.  The purpose of this workshop is to enable queer spiritual practitioners to conjoin their queer identity with their faith, developing an integrated state of faith that is healthy and beneficial.<br/>Facilitator: Seb Stewart is Executive Director of Q-Youth in Nelson. Seb grew up as a practicing catholic. In his early twenties he ordained and lived as a Buddhist monk for seven years. He is now a passionate queer advocate with a sincere interest in serving the queer spiritual community. ";
